Crocheting in spiral, magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet stitch, increasing and decreasing.
Buster Materials:
Yarn:
o 1-2 skeins of Chunky Chenille yarn for the main color: (Ex. Premier Parfait Chunky,
Hobbii Honey Bunny, Hobbii Baby Snuggle, Himalaya Dolphin Baby)
o 1 skein for main clothing color
o Partial skeins for paws, nose, clothing, and clothing accent color
o A small amount of worsted weight, size 4 yarn (cotton or acrylic) for eye features and
nose if you prefer.
Safety Eyes: I used 25mm recessed (sinker) eyes. You can adjust the eye size and style to your preference. Please consider that you may have to adjust the location of the eyes if you use something different. All eyes used in my patterns are hand painted by me. They are available here if interested: www.3jshandcrafts.com
Crochet hook: 4.5 mm
Stuffing: Polyester Fiberfill
Stitch markers, scissors, and tapestry/darning sewing needle. I prefer a curved needle. The needle will be used to sew on ears, mouth, and do facial features.
Optional for tail: You will need white chenille yarn (size 6) or for fluffy version: fur type yarn size 6 (I used Lion Brand Go for Faux yarn)
Size: Depending on your tension and if you use the indicated material and hook, your finished toy should measure approximately 17” from top of ears to bottom of feet.
